VIOLET'S TAIL AMPUTATION
Violet had her tail amputated on Tuesday the 2nd and this was a tail that seriously needed to be removed, she already feels so much better with out it. She has been a true champ and does not even act like anything happened to her. After a closer look at her eyes while she was asleep it was determined that she does not have cherry eye but an infection of the 3rd lid that has been the cause of her eye problems. She also had an interdigital cyst removed from in between her toes that will no longer cause her paw pain, so she is on the mend and doing just great.
She is a sweet, sweet and funny little girl, you would never know that she is deaf. She plays with her foster brothers Wally & Thurston non stop (well in between naps).
She will have a check up in 10-14 days and have her stitches out.
Please check back to see how she is doing.
